special rates might apply for non-profit groups and rentals that require use of Entertainment License. These rates are not listed.
ARCC Rentals must be requested a minimum of 48 hours prior to your requested date and time. Payment for ARCC rentals are due 3 days prior to your rental.

Park Rental FAQ's

Contract & Payment

At the time of reservation, information will be taken and a contract will be initiated. A down payment of 25% of the rental is due within 7 days of reservation being made at the Pavilion and Civic Center locations. Payments can be made online, or in the form of cash, cashier's check, money order, or personal check must be returned with the completed contract to the Director of Parks at the Aurora Recreation Community Center in person or by email, mail, or dropped off in person, at least ten days prior to the scheduled date. Checks should be made out to City of Aurora. Refunds will be allowed if given a month's notice of cancellation.

Key Pick Up

Keys can be picked up the day prior to your rental at the Aurora Recreation Community Center (ARCC)

ARCC hours are M-F 6a-8p Sat 8a-6p, Sun 12p-6p ARCC phone number 812.926.2311 In the case of back to back rentals, Park Custodians will clean buildings by 10:00am the day of the rental.

Please be aware that the ARCC is unstaffed on major holidays.

Renter Expectations

Renters are expected to put all bagged trash by the site doors, and clean all major spills. Keys can be left on the location counter.

Fire & Camping

Open flames are not permitted in the park at any time. All food preparation must be done using the equipment provided by the rented building. Overnight camping is not permitted in the park at any time.

City Employee Policy

City employees are able to rent park facilities at the weekday rate. This is not transferrable to other family members. To get the City Employee rate, the employee is responsible for reserving the facility, completing rental agreement, and paying for the event.
